People have dogs/pets because they want to love and care for something that can give unconditional love in return. No one is putting value of one thing versus another; all living creatures have value, and for you or anyone else to take their value away is monstrous, not to mention one of the defining characteristics of serial killers. As a pet owner who almost lost their dog recently, I am glad to know that there are still people who will take the time to help a stranger, canine or human.

21. Last night I went to Gavin and Joey's Bar "The National Underground" on 159 E. Houston St. in NYC... And loved it !!! My friend Drew hosts an Open Jam there every week on Sunday night at 10pm.... Last night was Amazing and I am really looking forward to all the hot new music from some of the best Discovered and Undiscovered Talent in NYC!!! If you wanna play bring yourself or bring your band (there are house drums and instruments for you to use) and Rock On New York!!!

24. I think more people should do what Gavin did. As for Tinah your a very stupid person, no one said anything about people vs. animals, he was just doing something nice for a dog in need of help. Gavin, great job.

Well then, from your comments I gather that you spend your free time volunteering your time for the hungry/homeless, and donating at least 20% of your income to support these causes. Yeah, I know....not bloody likely! It happens to be hippocrits such as yourself, that are the dredge of any society....all talk, and no effective action. See, I pay A LOT of taxes that go towards a social system to aid people (of whom many are more than capable of earning a living if they chose), and this isn't my choice. My choice with my income and time is to run an animal rescue, which I spend at least 30,000 a year of my own income. I earn a comfortable living, and if I want to spend it for surgery saving a cat hit by a car or buying diamond collars for dogs it is my money I am spending. Spend your money your way, and if you care that much to critisize people who care about something enough to take action, than put YOUR money where your mouth is. See, it's selfish people such as yourself that make me disgusted by most 'humans'.

30. You guys spend way to much time overanalyzing small things! I saw Joey DeGraw Friday and he showed me the pix of the dog. SHe was a sweet dog and No this story isn't "POP Fiction" as one of you stated!!! They did a nice thing end of story! What else is there to discuss??
