Dennis Rodman -- Role Model?

Yes, it's true, D-Rod is going to Haiti -- one of the countries the U.S. State Dept. has issued a travel warning for -- to talk to the kids in some of the country's poorest neighborhoods, and will "share words of guidance and direction." What, no tattoo advice?
Dennis Rodman
The Worm will attempt to "close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world," telling the kids to "say no to drugs, no to violence, no to gangsters, and no to teenage pregnancy."

Perhaps he should speak in Kentwood, La.

21. Most of the people who have commented on this page are uneducated and rude. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and is only a 2 hour plane ride from Miami. It's about time we started paying attention to other parts of the world and not only to ourselves. And they don't have a coup every "3.5 minutes" like someone posted earlier. The government is stabilizing and the UN is heavily present in Port-au-Prince. Maybe if people started reading other news sites they would understand this. And please stop criticizing others who are trying to do good work and help the poor. Get off this webpage and do something yourselves.
