Chris Benoit Lives on ... at Target

A loyal TMZ reader has informed us that all merchandise related to the dead wrestler has been pulled from the WWE website, you can still find Chris Benoit (or at least his action figure) at your local Target store.
Target and Chris Benoit
Even more unbelievable, we found this little gem on the toy aisle at a Target in Atlanta, which is less than fifty miles from where the murders/suicide took place. Note the toy's now-prophetic title: "Micro Aggression." Eek.

The toy set comes complete with the evil Kane, the Undertaker (insert bad taste joke here), and alleged double murderer Benoit. Steroids not included.

Calls to Target reps have not been returned.

As we mentioned, this story came from an anonymous source. If you are inside the wresting community with a real story to tell, email us. All information will be completely confidential.

7. What's sick is that people will buy these toys and they will be "collecter's" items. I can't believe these haven't already been pulled from store shelves. And to everyone bashing TMZ for running this story: They's not mocking a child's death. Stop reading the stories if you're going to be offended.

8. I can't believe that wwe would take out all benoit merchandise. this is sick, is it a sign of guilty, murdere or no murderer you can not take out what he did in the ring, he was a far much fully baked wrestler than anybody else,

12. Actually I applaud TMZ for bringing this to the public's attention. If I were shopping at Target and saw them I would have spoken to management to have the figures removed. It is a simple matter of respect for the mother and child killed and their loves ones dealing with their loss.

13. These Micro Aggression toys have been in stores for a VERY long time, way before any of the tragic events happened. Plus, those three wrestlers are not the only ones that have this miniature version. The word "aggression" has been used with wrestler actions figures since they began coming out many many years ago.

DUH, TMZ.

15. I actually saw a wrestling ring set w/4 miniature wrestlers, Benoit being one of them, at Kmart. If there are people willing to buy them, then let them. The money can go to his two living children, in case anyone forgot about them. I also agree w/the person who stated that WWE can't erase his memory, no matter how hard they try. So why not let it benefit two children who have suffered more than enough through all of this.
