Support ,maintenance and services?Thats only three of what this guy is claiming,yea she sadly killed someone in the crash and that is aweful ,it almost sounds like the poor woman that died had to support him.maintenance and services what the (you know what ) does that mean? Maybe cuz she is celebrity he is taking full advantageof his loss.

83. This is truly sad.... It was said that she was not driving fast but going the speed limit of 65. Was she drunk? No.
If it was not a DUI why not have the insurance pay for all the bills not the person who was involved in the accident. I do not think people purposely involve themselves in an accident. Is this what the world has become? Sueing eachother for money? Whatever happened to forgiveness?
Again if she was not a star they would not be sueing for millions of dollars. There have been cases where accidents like this have happened and people had the decency not sue people for money to console their own grievenses. What is wrong with you people? Is it not just as hard for the person who accidently killed someone? Did you not think what is going on in Brandy's head? The guild and grief she is feeling? Some people have no heart.

If this husband/perents had a choice of $50 million, or thier loved one back... of course they are going to choose thier loved one! But that can't happen now can it? In this winderful country if you are irresponsible and Careless... you are and probably will be held accountable for Your actions. Therefor you can and probably will be respoinsible both civially and ciminally.
You can't just race around town hoping you don't hit anyone, and when you do say "Oh I'm a star... I'm Brandi from TV"... I saw her on PUNKD trying to play the "But your my brotha" to a black police officer. I don't think you can get any more ridiculous than her... and I have faith she'll be held responsible for her Senseless, Self Centered, Careless above the Law Actions!!!

86. This is sad, the parents of the lady that died are out of line though. Not to mention that their lawsuit will probably be thrown out. I've been through a wrongful death lawsuit and the parents of the deceased can join the lawsuit with the spouse, but because the deceased did not support them or bring any extra income to the picture for the parents, there is no reason for the lawsuit on their behalf. I support the husband and feel for him, hopefully he keeps it reasonable so that the rememberance of his wife isn't turned into a battle for money. I think Brandy should pay some to the husband and kids but 1-2 million is more than enough and I'm sure Brandy probably wouldn't have any problems paying it.

89. Accidents happen, but Brandy was wreckless by driving too fast, and chatting on her cell-phone when she plowed into this woman. I dont call this an accident. Accidents are mistakes we make when trying to do the right thing, she was not.

By killing the mother of two small children, she has forever changed the dynamics of this family. A mother is the foundation for all families. If you aske me, there isnt enough money to replace what Brandy took from that family.

Of course money will not bring them back, but it helps. The family will now have to pay for services that the mother would have done for the family cooking, cleaning, driving her kids to school events. Maybe the mother had a job, that income. Babysitting all kinds of things that mothers do.

For her to think she should be absolved from any responsibility is arrogant. I am sure she is sorry, but sorry is not going to help this family. As it stands now, she gets no jail time, and walk away scott-free. This is an insult to the woman and her family.

Brandy, should pay-up and be happy that she isnt going to jail for killing someone.

90. I think they would be suing andyone, celebrity or not... Those are all valid, legal reasons to sue. His wife is dead because some stranger wasn't careful enough when they were driving. Driving is a PRIVILEDGE, not a RIGHT!! A civil lawsuit is the only legal way to somehow make up for this... Thank God he doesn't have the "eye for an eye" mentality!! Everyone's life is in danger when they get behind the wheel of a car, because you're at the mercy of EVERYONE else out there... EVERYONE has the responsibility to drive carefully and if someone dies because of YOUR carelessness, then you SHOULD be sued and pay $$$$ Brandy can make more because she is still alive!!! The other person is DEAD FOREVER.
